Safety Tips
UrCircle
01Be Careful When Meeting New People
There is no substitute for caution when you interact with someone you do not know. That includes people you meet through UrCircle.
Routines on UrCircle are created by users. UrCircle does not organize or supervise those meetings, and these tips do not guarantee that a person or a meeting will be safe.
02Protect Your Personal Information
Do not share identifying details in a public profile or in an early interaction. That includes your last name, your full name, personal email address, home address, phone number, workplace, and financial information.
If someone pressures you for personal or financial information, end the contact.
Never send money to someone simply because you connected through UrCircle.
03Meet in Public
When you meet someone new, choose a busy public place.
Arrange your own transportation. Avoid being picked up from home, or dropped off at home, by someone you have just met.
04Tell Someone You Trust
Tell a trusted friend or family member where the meeting will take place, whom you expect to meet, and when you plan to return.
05Respect Boundaries
Participation is voluntary. Leave if you feel uncomfortable.
Do not pressure or coerce someone else into attending or continuing.
06Report Concerning Behavior
You can report or block another user from their profile.
You may also report a serious incident connected to an UrCircle routine.
UrCircle reviews reports, prioritizes serious safety concerns, and aims to act appropriately. UrCircle is not an emergency service. It does not guarantee immediate intervention or a particular response time.
07In an Emergency
If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services immediately.
UrCircle is not an emergency response service, and it does not monitor meetings.
