Community Guidelines

UrCircle

Effective date: November 2, 2026

01Our Community

UrCircle is designed to help people build routines, meet through shared activities, and create positive real-world connections.

Everyone using UrCircle should feel respected and safe.

02Be Respectful

Do not use UrCircle to:

  • harass, bully, threaten, humiliate, or intimidate someone;
  • direct discriminatory abuse or hate speech at others;
  • keep contacting someone after they have made it clear the contact is unwanted.

03Keep People Safe

Do not:

  • stalk or coerce another person;
  • sexually exploit anyone;
  • threaten violence or encourage self-harm;
  • engage in dangerous conduct, or behavior that creates a credible safety risk.

04Be Authentic

Do not:

  • impersonate another person;
  • create a deceptive profile;
  • misrepresent your identity for a fraudulent purpose;
  • scam users, or deliberately deceive people about your intentions.

05No Spam or Commercial Abuse

Do not:

  • send repetitive or unwanted invitations, join requests, or other communications through the features UrCircle makes available;
  • promote scams, fraudulent offers, or pyramid schemes;
  • use automated spam;
  • use UrCircle primarily to advertise unrelated products or services.

06Appropriate Content

Do not upload or share:

  • illegal content;
  • explicit sexual content;
  • graphic violence;
  • content that exploits minors;
  • content that violates another person’s privacy;
  • content you do not have the right to share.

07Respect Privacy

Do not share a photo, video, recording, or private information about another person without the rights or permissions that applicable law requires. This includes a Moment that features someone else.

Do not secretly record, photograph, track, or expose another user in a way that violates their privacy or applicable law.

08Routines and Offline Meetings

Routines are organized by users, unless UrCircle expressly identifies a routine as organized by UrCircle.

If you create a routine, describe the activity and the meeting arrangements accurately. Do not intentionally mislead others about its nature, location, or purpose.

Participation must remain voluntary. Respect personal boundaries. Do not pressure or coerce someone into attending or continuing an activity.

If you feel unsafe, leave and seek help.

UrCircle does not ordinarily organize or physically supervise meetings that users organize. UrCircle does not guarantee that a meeting will be safe.

09Reports and Blocking

You can report or block another user from their profile.

Blocking is intended to restrict visibility and interaction according to UrCircle’s access rules and the technical behavior of the service.

A report may concern conduct within UrCircle, or a credible incident connected to an activity arranged through UrCircle.

10Moderation and Enforcement

UrCircle reviews reports as appropriate. It prioritizes serious safety concerns and aims to respond promptly based on the severity and the circumstances.

Where reasonably necessary to enforce these Guidelines, protect users, prevent abuse, or comply with the law, UrCircle may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account, or terminate an account.

What UrCircle does may depend on the severity, the context, the person’s history on UrCircle, and the evidence available.

UrCircle does not provide around-the-clock monitoring, guarantee a response time, or take automatic action on every report. Not every report will result in a particular action.

11False or Abusive Reports

Do not intentionally submit a false report, or misuse reporting tools to harass another person.

Good-faith reports are encouraged, even if UrCircle later decides that no action is required.

12If You Are in Immediate Danger

UrCircle is not an emergency service.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate local authority.

13Changes to These Guidelines

UrCircle may update these Guidelines as the product and community evolve.

A revision will show an accurate effective date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate or where the law requires it.
